Samsung TVs Not Connecting Wirelessly to CR1000a

Frustrating to say the least just got "upgraded to the CR10000a as my G3100 started to malfunction and cause Fios TV issues. Never had a problem with the G3100 and connecting all of my devices including Samsung TVs with 2.4ghz antennas. Now with the CR1000a, they don’t connect wirelessly and I get the connection error with an auto IP. Tried everything resetting both tvs, smart hub, disabling SON, static IP etc. Sometimes it will connect then will fail the next time.

Only way it will connect consistently is be turning off WPA2 encryption but I’m not going to run a network without password. Of course, Verizon says they are not sending out 3100’s anymore so this CR10000a is it. Any help?

Just would like to update that I believe to have solved this issue. In the Samsung TV Wireless network connection, instead of choosing a network and entering the password which always fails to connect, scroll down to WPS and select and chose the PIN option. Login to admin on the router from an PC or laptop, and go to theWiFi Protected setup and turn on WPS. Enter the generated PIN the Samsung TV generated  then either click ok. The router adds the TVs MAC address then click ok/connect on the tv. If that doesn’t work, do the steps above again but flip the order of clicking ok first on the tv then on the router after putting in the PIN. It is very finicky on which order you do this step but both TVs have  connected automatically ever since without issue.
