Wanted to share my story as I wonder if others have experienced the same issues. Over the past year my service at home has dwindled down to 108-115 dBms from 94-104 dBms. Being down at this level causes alot of service hang ups and down time. This is a serious issue as I have no home WiFi and I count on my cell service. ( Have elderly Mother that I have to keep tabs on her sugar over an app as well as she needs to be able to contact me when she calls) I have contacted Customer Support multiple (5-6) times during my issues, only to recieve a generic answer getting the run around finally just hanging up. I have been offered a network extender which I would consider getting the home WiFi so that it woukd work but, hearing it will cost 250 to 300 dollars cancels that idea. Even the monthly offer to purchase it just doesn't work with my very limited funds due to heath issues. Every call finally hits the "thats all I can offer" point leading to giving up. I have told my story so many times it's ridiculous. Verizon moved towers when they built a huge Equestrian Center nearby and that's when the problems seemed to have started taking away from their loyal customers to satisfy the rich and powerful. I have been a customer for many years and I feel as if I should be offered some type of solution, cost being on their end. Also it shouldn't matter that Ihave provided my phones over the years, instead of opting for a contract phone. Companies today don't value their long time customers, really felt Verizon would not join this train though.
