Ok.

#1 I looked up on Google Linksys EB140, but I do not see it is a switch. I see it is a NIC that goes into a computer.

#2 While I know your Linksys BEFSR41 V.3 is a router and has a built in switch, do you have a spare hub/switch that is not IP aware?

By spare hub/switch, I mean it is not connected to anything else.

By not IP aware I mean in the data sheet for the specifications it does not say about IPv4 or IPv6.
