Slow wifi speeds after upgrading to 1Gbps service

I’ve been a Fios TV and internet customer for a few years now and have been extremely happy with the service. I previously had 300Mbps internet using a G3100 router and it worked really well for the most part. I recently purchased an E3200 extender to cover dead spots in my backyard and pool deck area. That worked amazing and I was getting 300+ Mbps speed tests up and down all over my house and outside! I couldn’t leave well enough alone and decided to upgrade to the 1Gbps service thinking I would keep the same amazing wifi coverage and get increased speeds…well, I’m not.
The service was upgraded yesterday and I’m getting dead spots all over the house and outside now. Speeds are inconsistent, but typically in the 200-300Mbps range in the house and 100-200Mbps outside…so less than I was getting with my 300Mbps service!
I spent over an hour with Verizon tech support last evening trying everything possible to fix the speed issue. Nothing was working and I was told they would need to send a tech. After being put on hold, I was told that the speed to the router is 900Mbps+ up and down, so there’s nothing more they can do, and they won’t be sending tech out.
Is there anything I can do to resolve this? Take a look at this Verizon speed test I performed this morning while sitting in my living room. The speed to the router is great, but my wifi speeds are terrible on every wireless device in my house. It’s not usually this low, but this was done before 6am when everyone in the house was still asleep. Very frustrating. Thanks.

What if you try uploading and downloading some heavy files from Google Drive and monitor the speed?
Good speed between the VZ network and your router locates the issue squarely to your router, extender, and/or your devices.
