Technicians left without reconnecting FiOS cable

Last week, my cable was dug up by local DOT. I had to wait 3 days to get a technician to run a temporary cable.  Today technicians came out to run my permanent line.  They did not tell they were there, my FiOS was just turned off. When I talked to them, they said they would be done soon. I went up a couple hours later and they were gone. They didn't run the line and left my service off. I called Verizon and they don't know what is going on, why they didn't talk to me before they left and if they are coming back.  I had to make another appointment 3 days out to get my service fixed.  I have been working from home for 10 years, I can't afford my service to be down 3 days.
