Unauthorized advertisement on my homepage

I have a  ad that just popped up on my homepage and I can not get rid of it. It changes products often and it seems to have been created with Adobe flash. Can someone tell me how to get rid of this ad? Please try to keep it simple, I'm not to familiar with computers. Thank You

You have a popup ad.  Nothing you can do except change home pages and they all have them.

It depends on where your homepage is hosted.   While it is true that many servers help pay their expenses in this way, a lot of them also offer ad-free webspace for an extra fee.  You might check and see if that is available where your site is now, and if not, you might want to change where your website is hosted.
