I just connected a Verizon WiFi extender to my Verizon router. Now, there are two SSIsD, one with my name for the main router and one for the extender with the same name as my router but with _EXT at the end. When I am in the room that I am using the extender, should I be connecting to the SSID with _EXT at the end or still using the SSID for my main router? I vaguely remembering a tech saying something about always connect to the main router SSID even when in the area of the WiFi extender, but I may be mistaken. None of the user guides are clear as to what to do. Thanks!
