The verizon connection program website is not allowing me to verify my employment.  I went to the verizon connection website completed the existing customer application with my company's email, a link was then email to my work email.  I clicked on the link but it just took me back to tge My Fios login page to access my verizon account.  I didn't get no notification that my employment was verified.  I called customer service and tried to explain to them what happened but they stated they could not help me because it was not their department and rerouted me back to the connections website, to keep trying and that's all they could do for me. Could someone please help, because the website is not doing what it was set up to do.

At the step where you clicked on the verification link the notification had gone back to Verizon. They send you an email when it’s in their system. This does not happen instantly. 

Yes the link works that way and its crazy. Years ago I just let it ride but in 2 bill periods it was applied (19% off for government) 

you can also go to an official corporate store and show them your work ID and they can enter it manually. Remember the discount is not for all companies. You must be on the approved list.

I appreciate your response.  It would of been nice if that was explained during the process or atleast some form of acknowledgement that the verification was received.

The verification process was in the past to simply reply to verizons email, they also had a link but like I said I replied to the email as well as the link.

it was applied. But the faster way is at the Verizon store. You do realize this is for Fios internet, tv and phone.

Well it seems like things have changed.  The link you attached to your post is where I started this process. Again It would of been nice for verizon to state either the next stage in the process or acknowledge that they have received my request.  No message popped up on my screen before being taken to the Verizon homepage about what is next in the process.  Thus how I ended up on this forum of Verizon customers due to the lack of communication, all i needed was a simple message after i clicked the link (that was sent to my email) and entered my login. 

I am aware what the discount is for.  Like you said I have to either wait or physically go into the Verizon store.
