Greetings All!
I recently assisted my father-in-law on his conversion from AOL dial-up to Verizon DSL/AOL. All went fine except one irritating issue. He used to have his aol screen name and password stored, and thus just dialed into a quick connection. Now he needs to enter as an AOL 'guest', and manually enter his screen name and passwprd every time he connects. Is there a way to store his screen name and password? In advance ..... thanks for any asist etc.!
The verizon dsl tech support people in India seem clueless, as I've tied them 3 times now. Twice they promised to research the issue and get back to me via email. Nada so far.

If you are only given two sign on Options: % and Guest...
I had the same issue with the Verizon AOL software download.
Use the AOL conectivity tool on the bottom right hand of your desk top. Right click it to System Info, go to AOL Software and click Restore and that is how I fixed it, after Verizon's Tech support couldn't. Tech support never called me back with the answer on how to fix this problem after taking control of my PC for 3 hours and several attempts to reinstall the AOL software that is provided.
Problem was solved. Another option would be to uninstall the AOL software that they provide and just download the AOL software from AOL's website.
