Verizon Fios cut my main water line and won't make it right

Verizon was installing my fios (through a subcontractor) last week and they cut my main water line with their ditch witch. My well pump in the garage burned up from sucking air and not turning off, pvc joints exploded from the overheating pump and pressure, and four days later, and several thousand so far in plumbing repairs I still don't have water. When I immediately called Verizon within an hour of the contractors cutting the water line, after holding for an hour, I was told by a Verizon rep "it couldn't have been us because we aren't scheduled to come until next week. But we will look into and someone will call in 24-48 hours." I promise it was you, I have pictures, and the verizon tech who came the next morning to test the connection and finishing setting up the permanent fios line confirmed what I already know. I still have not heard from Verizon, and will try to reach a human again tomorrow. But a word of caution if you allow Verizon anywhere near your property. Hopefully, someone from Verizon will make this right.
