Verizon Gateway Issue

I successfully switched internet providers to Verizon 5G Gateway. The system worked great for 10 days, then just stopped working.  No 24 hr support but finally  reached an agent at 8am. The agent assured me it would be escalated and I would hear back in a few hours. That was very important since I work from home. 
No response within timeframe but I did receive an email with a ticket number. 
Made another call to Verizon and this agent had me spend time doing diagnostics that had already been done. I was even instructed to move the Gateway. I did as instructed and nothing. 

Then I was informed it could take 3-5 business days to diagnose the issue. 
I WORK FROM HOME. 3-5 days is totally unacceptable. I already lost a day of wages trying to fix this issue. 
How can it simply stop working when it worked perfectly fine for 10 days?

Terrible experience.
