Hello all, I've had Fios for some time now. Maybe about 8+ years and just now finally deciding to relocate the router. I live in a 4 story house and the router was installed in the basement, where I'm pretty sure is the worst place to put it. I game a lot and tend to get awful connectivity since the room where I do most of it is on the top floor, My question is if I can use the coaxial cable from either my room or another room on this floor that has one, will it work?

Depending on if that coaxial is hooked to the ONT or not.
Or you could get an extender for the other floors. Cost about $100 each
And or leave the router where it is now and run a coaxial from the ont up to the floor you want. You may have an issue if you have tv. And then connect it to the router that way.
