Hi all,
I use DirectTV for television and Fios for internet. The problem seems that verizons "tv everywhere" makes the browser think that Verizon is my television provider. How do I turn this off so I can use another provider? I even tried VPN to no avail.

The easiest way is to go to http://www.directtvnow.com
once there log in with your user name and password.
Please note Verizon does not give free viewing of this service, you must have a DirectTVNOW account.
If you are are trying to watch certain channels that are available on your Fios service say HBO you would click on it and sign in under the customer of DirectTVNOW and not Verizon, with your DirectTVNOW password.
Good Luck

ESPN is likely making a bad assumption that you want to use Verizon's authentication instead of DirecTV's authentication for the service based on IP Address.
