Wi-Fi 2.4 and smart network keeps dropping out

Hey everyone, hoping someone may have some sort of insight here. So I keep having issues where my 2.4 network and my smart networks will just drop out. The 5ghz network continues to work without issue. This has been happening since I switched to Fios some time ago. I have swapped routers for this, and it seemed to fix it for some time, then began again. Last fix was someone at Verizon had to reset something as he said in the “backend” and it seemed to work for a few weeks, but it happened again tonight. Unplugging the router and then plugging back in fixes it, but only temporarily. Does not always happen every day. Any help here?

have you checked the 2.4 ghz  spectrum  in your area for interference or for competing access points on the same channel?
