Had to replace Fios 5G router due to hardware failure.  Was running two  CR1000 extenders off of old router, without problems.

Can't synch the existing extenders to the new router.  Any suggestons?

What is your router's model number?

There are no CR1000 extenders, only CE1000A extenders.

I just got the CR1000 and CE1000s and had similar issues but I have an Asus BE98 Pro as my gateway. I had to connect the CR1000 as the gateway, both physically and with network settings (removed WAN from bridge, re-enabled DHCP server on the CR1000) before the CE1000s would sync with the CR1000s. I changed it back now that they're synced and it seems the CE1000s are broadcasting my SSID correctly but I'm not sure if I make changes now if they'll resync. I'll test further over the weekend when i'm not WFH. As I understand it, SSDP is used to multicast these changes. Not sure if my Asus router is blocking these but even when connecting the CR1000s or the CE1000s they did not sync until I changed the gateway, even if I disabled AI protection and firewalls on the Asus. Are these CE1000s hard coded to connect to the gateway only ? Is there a way we can change that with a custom route maybe ? They're awesome APs , don't even need to use my AI Mesh stuff anymore with the VZ hardware.

Can't seem to edit my previous post but in case this helps anyone, the CE1000 extender doesn't really like IP ranges outside the 192.168.1.x range. You could switch everything to that range with the CR1000 as primary, sync, and then change it how you had it but you won't be able to access the extender that way as it insists on a 192.168.1.100 address. The CR1000 does try to change to a different subnet when selecting the extender in the UI but it doesn't actually connect.
