I suddenly am having trouble connecting to our fios router wireless.   I have no problem at work so it is not my laptop.  My husband has no trouble at home on his laptop - - -but my laptop usually cannot and when I use the in home agent to fix it, most times tell me it cannot.

Any idea what to do - -this is a real pain!

Couple of questions.

1. What OS does your laptop have?

2. Have you tried deleting the network from the laptop and rebuilding the connection?

Has your work recently made any software changes on your laptop?

Is it your laptop, or a corporate laptop?

Do you have local adminitrator rights on the laptop?

Log into the router with a computer that has access to the network, and try to change the wireless channel, it may help.

If you do not have adminitrator access to the laptop, you may need to add the SSID and key manually. If it is a company laptop, they may have changed you local access rights or configuration of the computer, that In home Agent May not run properly.

My OS is Windows XP.  It is not a work laptop, though I use it for work.   I have administrative rights.  I will try deleting the network connection and set it up again.
