I didn't get any internet wires with my installation and the wifi isn't good enough so maybe moving it closer will help

Which Fios box? There are two or more different boxes a Fios install can come with.

If it is the router (ActionTec MI424WR, Verizon G1100, Verizon G3100, or Verizon CR1000A), that can be moved anywhere you want to put it. Make sure you're able to get Ethernet and/Coax, whatever is connected to your router, to the new location from the ONT (the other box Fios uses). Most Fios installs, especially if you are using a speed higher than 100Mbps, will be using Ethernet for the Internet. The Coax is used for MoCA LAN networking for the Range Extenders and Set Top Boxes. Old installs (100Mbps or less) might use the Coax for Internet delivery, but those are aging out.

If it is the ONT, it's best not to move that. If it needs to be moved, call Verizon so they can get a technician out to relocate the fiber.
