dsl not working, Baltimore

My dsl has been out since Saturday. It's now Wednesday. Anyone else out there in the Baltimore area having trouble? I've been told 3 different stories now about what it might be. Finally had someone come out and look today and was told it's nothing they can fix here. It's something to do with an issue at the main office. What is going on?!?!

Yes, my internet connection has been out since Monday. I have unplugged and re-plugged a few times. Nothing seems to bring it back. Would love some actual help from Verizon... I am paying for nothing right now...
