#2 If so to question number one, show the first screen that you see in it after you log-in to it.
Unfortunately it does not that I know of. All settings are changed on the phone.I can enter the static IP, the subnet mask, the default gateway, the remote RPC IP. Then it cycles through looking for UDP port 5567 and then TCP port 5566. Here is what I set up in the port forwarding although I'm not sure I understood and/or did it correctly. It's still not working.
Is it possible that Verizon blocks UDP ports on their end - rather than the router?
I can telnet so the TCP port seems fine.
Thanks again for all your help.
If the router supports UPnP (this may be at Advanced -> UPnP) If that is turned on, turn that off.
#1 Here is an idea, to test if something is blocking the ports.
Instead of forwarding to this phone, forward the ports to your computer.
Then use the port checker designed by portforward.com
#2 OR if you desire to, for testing reasons you can use your old router.
Here is some of the details that you need to know about this..

Well, port forwarding worked for the computer. The port was open when I ran the test.
As far as the uPnp, here's the screen about it. I can't really tell if that's considered "on" or "off"
I will try the other router. At least I'm confident that I set up the port forwarding correctly, now it's just figuring out the phone issue.
I have the same phone and the same problem. I switched to FIOS and now I cannot get my Axxess phone to work. I also can get the ports to foward but my phone still does not work.
Did you resolve your problem?
I have not gotten the issue fixed even after setting up the westell with ethernet connection. I have worked on this extensively with my group and we have no solution. Sorry I can't be more help.
