sorry.

i meant to turn off ports 80/8080 on fios quantum router. i scanned the fios quantum gateway and would like to turn off both port 80 and 8080.

Remote management GUI only uses TCP 443 and 8443. Even these two ports are closed by default. Ports 80 and 8080 should not have anything interactable.

Does the your GUI pop up when you type in WAN IP:80? If so, you might need to check your settings in the System Settings.
