I have Verizon DSL with a Westell 6100 Modem. I would like a desktop PC (XP) to be hard-wired to the internet and a wireless signal to go to a MAC laptop, but both do NOT have to run at the same time. Is this possible?

#1 Is this Westell 6100 modem a wireless modem combo or just a wired modem combo?
#2 Do you have another router?

Sorry for the delay.
I have a wired Westell 6100 combo and a Linksys WRT 400N router. I'd like the PC to be on the wired network and other computers to be wireless (not at the same time). I'm new to wireless setups but I'm guessing the PC needs to be ON and connected to the wired network for the router to work?
