hi guys im a big gamer and i want to ask people is verizon high speed internet 7.1mbps good for playing online games in xbox360 like 'modernwarfare 2 with like no lag? or is optimun better?

Whether you get lag or not depends on how good the host of the game is. For example if you live in the USA and the host is in Europe,  you will have poor connection.

Other than that, even basic package will work just fine for online gaming.
