Unable to have ID.me verify my military status with Verizon, even though my verifications at ID.me are green

I'm unable to have my Military status verified through ID.me no matter what I try. I tried updating my email, verifying my name is the same as on ID.me, asking the Verizon customer service agent to escalate my issue, opening a support ticket with ID.me, and they don't answer support tickets and don't even have customer service agents, not sure why anybody uses them for military status verificationa when they can't provide proper customer service to military members who have sacrificed their lives and family time to protect this country, yet they can't provide simple customer service at ID.me, and not to mention the fact that all Verizon can tell me now is, sorry, we cannot get you the $15 monthly discount on your account unless you verify it through ID.me. It's been a no win for me for the last 6 months, that's at least $90 plus my time spent on phone calls and emails. Please help me! Last suggestion was to do it through my husband's ID.me and it still didn't work.

So, you have verified with ID.me? If so, select one of the Verizon icons closest to your subscription. It should take you to Verizon. I had issues - long story - but the ID.me verification went well.
If not, then I may have more to suggest.
Added: As to the discount, I have the Triple Play, an older plan. I was told I would have to update to the Mix and Match plan - pay more - to get the military discount. Breaks down as I owe $27 more per month for the M&M, but I get the $10 MC, so nets out $17 more per month. And the plans are not identical - less for more. Verizon is shameless. No a friend of veterans.
