Can't record TV shows using the Fios app or website

For months, when I try to do this, I get an error message saying my DVR is offline. Tech support suggested I upgrade my 2 set-top boxes which I did, still doesn't work. Then they switched me to Enhanced DVR service (at a cost of $10 extra dollars/month), still doesn't work. I have been on the phone with them multiple times doing all kinds of trouble shooting over hours and hours, and put in multiple service tickets, still nothing AND they don't even respond to my queries as to what is going on. Anyone else experienced this? I can record using my Fios remote while sitting in front of the TV but it's a pain in the butt. I really don't appreciate their lack of responsiveness simultaneous to upcharging me for service that hasn't solved the problem!

The first thing I would do is call the billing department and have them re-authorize your account to allow for DVR recording. Then go here and reset your Fios boxes. Remember though that resetting the boxes will remove any recordings you have.
Main Menu > Settings > System> Reset Settings
You could also go here and try the troubleshooter, without risking your recordings:
Main Menu > Customer Support > Top Support Tools > Fix Fios TV Issues
