My dvd player is connected to the TV. However, when the TV is on, the DVD disc doesn't show on the screen. Pressing the TV Input (A/V) button on the remote does not change the HD setting to A/V setting. It does nothing. After turning the TV set off completely by remote and turning it on manually on the actual set, I cannot change channels or do anything; the screen says I must turn on FIOS to get TV reception. How do I get my DVD player to show on the screen thru FIOS? The player is connected to the TV and the TV is connected to FIOS.

Got it ! Thanks ! It's a little convoluted with the two remote and getting to the right screens but it works.
