New to FIOS. Is Verison planning to one day allow a Western Digital MyBook AV to connected and used with its VMS1100 DVR?
As we are all users, we can't say for sure.
But previous statements from Verizon said they felt the current offerings were in line with their competition.
Keep in mind, DVR is not intended for long term storage.
Usage of an extender with the current DVRs are tied to that specific box.
If the box needs to be replaced, you will lose everything on the DVR as attaching to a new box will cause a reformat of the drive.
