Fios TV Voice Remote - on/off for TV doesn't work well

Hi - upgraded to the new Fios One boxes and remotes. I'm generally happy with the new service, but hate the remote - one some of our TVs it is ok, but on our main TV it often has trouble turning it on. Is this common? Is there any way to atttempt to manually program it like the old remotes?

You can manually program the remote by going to menu-settings-voice control-fios tv voice remote-program fios tv voice remote-manual setup.  I had to do this for my new setup on several tv's.
