Having an issue with my fios one box switching to 2160p under display settings. Currently my tv (philips 50pfl5901/f7) is up-scaling to 4k but I'd like to have the box do it. Using Blue Jeans Cable High speed 18gpb HDMI series FE cable, and tried a few to no avail. Considering doing a factory reset on my TV but is there any other settings I should change on the box itself? TV specs say it is capable of 2160p 24, 30, 60Hz so I'm stumped here.
Does the TV have any settings on input or HDMI control that allow for enhanced or UHD signals to be input? Is there a specific HDMI input on the TV for UHD? You should also try power cycling the fios box. Did you check the resolution settings in the mini menu and enable 2160?
