I pay for HBO. Why does Verizon choose to not support the app when I subscribe? It’s clearly not an HBO issue since Verizon doesn’t support it. Verizon used to support the app. I received no notice that this service was removed. Is this legal?

What makes you say its not supported. This is the first time I have seen it claimed, although periodically people have had trouble getting signed in. Your attachment is not yet visible.
Note I am in former Verizon area, now Frontier, and cannot test

If you still can't open the link to the screengrab I tried to post it says"
"Sorry, Verizon Doesn't Support HBO GO Do you want to sign in with anouther TV Provider?"
That's why I said that HBO Go is unsupported. Verizon told me it is.

I uninstalled and reinstalled the app from the app store. It still did not work.

I tried mine and it works ok.
When do you see this message? When you scroll down and choose Verizon FIOS from the list of providers? What type of device are you using app on?
Verizon might be saying they don't support the app from a support point of view if it is not working. Not that they don't allow subscribers to use the app.

Verizon is not on the list of providers, either under Verison or under Fios. It's simly not there. I'm using an iPad, it worked fine last week.

That sounds like an app issue.
I would contact HBO for support as that is not a Verizon issue.

I gotta agree with Rob, I have no issues with HBO Go on my AppleTV, iPad (was just watching it on my iPad this morning) and I was able to logon to the app through my Dell Laptop. No issues here.

Have you contacted HBO?
App is owned by them not Verizon.

I had the exact same issue and started freaking out, but I was able to fix it. I think it has something to do with the OS storing your login information for all your TV streaming apps. When you get that message, click "Choose another provider," select Verizon FiOS and sign in again. That resolved the issue for me.
