Hi, I pay for HBO. I have been using HBO GO for the past few months on my PC. Today when I logged in to my HBO GO account using my Verizon credentials it is telling me that I need to subscribe to this service. I double checked my bill to make sure nothing was accidentally cancelled and I am still paying for HBO. Any help please?

Hi Justoneloook,
Please go to your profile page for the forum by clicking on your name, and look at the top of the middle column where you will find an area titled "My Private Support Cases". There you will find a link to the private board where you and the agent may exchange information. This should be checked on a frequent basis, as the agent may be waiting for information from you before they can proceed with any actions. Please keep all correspondence regarding your issue in the private support portal.

Good luck, everyone. I am still waiting to get mine fixed. I contacted a half dozen customer service people through twitter, this forum, and their online chat, over the course of several days. Each gave me a different answer but none fixed it. Finally today at 3:30 pm someone opened a trouble ticket for me. The lastest theory is that in the migration from verizon.net to verizon.com (or vice versa?) I need a new user name set up---blah blah blah technical information no one understands.
It seems completely impossible to 99% of Verizon employees that we have FiOS TV & phone but not internet. They do not support the internet set up we need, however, so it's not an option for us. One of the agents kept telling me I had to accept terms & conditions for the internet service which we do not have.
Whatever this bug is they need to fix it. I've met a lot of people on this forum, twitter, etc. having the exact same problem. There are probably thousands more than are but don't know it yet - they just aren't as addicted to HBO Go and Showtime Anytime as I am!

I purchased HBO yesterday 5/28/2013, and am unable to access HBO GO. Every time I try to sign up, it tells me that "To watch HBOGO, you must have HBO premium service on your FiOS TV account." What is the problem here?

I'm having the same problem. My roku just asked me to activate my device again after using it for many months. On sign in I'm being told that I'm not an HBO subscriber, so I don't think it's quite fixed yet.

I am also having the same problem - just started today. Tried to watch HBOgo on Roku (which I've been doing for well over a year) and it asked me to re-activate and when I tried to login to hbogo online it says "To watch Videos you will need to subscribe to FIOs TV with HBO" which I clearly DO! In fact HBO is being watched on our home tv right now! And my account still says we subscribe.
Please help!

I had a problem a week ago logging into HBO Go (I susbscribe to HBO) and customer service solved the problem so I could log into it. Now, a few days later, I can't log into HBO Go. It puts up an error message entitled "single sign-in error" that says "To watch videos, you will need to subscribe to FiOS TV with HBO. Order online now."
Well I do subscribe to HBO. And I want my HBO Go.

Nursebajan,
You and I are having the same exact issue. I can not login to: HBOGo, MAXGO, WatchEspn, ShowtimeAnytime, Starz or Encore.
I created a thread earlier that I say all of these apps are saying the same thing for me : That I do not have this channel with this Service. OR similar error codes.
So idk if this is truly a FiOS HBO problem speciifically , or that FiOS authentication servers crashed, that affected all the logins for all streaming apps that VZ has.

I'm having the same issue. It worked a few days ago. Now I get:
"To watch HBOGO, you must have HBO premium service on your FiOS TV account. Shop for HBO now."

HBO GO is out again. It worked for me for literally One day. Now it says that I need to subscribe to HBO . Same thing for Cinemax.
At least WatchESPN is not affected this time. Knock on Wood
Update: after waiting on hold 55 mins, the VZ tech did confirm that the HBO Authentication Servers were down. (again).
It is just about the waiting game now.
