If app, try deleting and reinstalling.

Not sure what you are saying. It should bring you to the Verizon Page but only for the logon. And see the following info they I have posted many times before.
A bunch of things lead to problems loging into HBO GO and many other Online Channel sites.
- You must get HBO (or whatever channel you are trying to use) from Verizon
- At least the first time you may first have to sign out of the Verizon site. It gets confused easily. It must go to the logon page, not some other Verizon page.
- You must allow third party cookies
- You must be running Flash, Flash must be allowed to store info for third parties. NOTE NOW THAT FLASH is beginning to go away, I am not sure what they use instead.
- You must not have your Browser options set to delete Information when exiting Browser. Flash takes this as deleting information when exiting a site.
The general way it works is for you to go to HBO GO site. Ask to look at something and it switches in a FRAME pointing to VERIZON and you signin. Verizon stores some information in flash and returns. That information must still be there so that HBO accepts you as authorized. On the apps things are similar although usually FLASH is not Used.

It’s really simple. If your using an app for HBOGo on Apple TV 4th generation you would first download the app, if you have a smart tv or Roku or an android device same thing. Download the app first. (If you have other devices under Apple like iPhones and iPads the app download on one normally downloads to all)
now after the app is downloaded you click it open. From the drop down list of providers you select Verizon Fios tv. Once selected you will get a login page to enter your Verizon credentials for account name & password.
it does not need to be entered again. The app saves the information. It has nothing to do with Adobe Flash or Macromedia or anything else. If your Verizon credentials are up to date and valid it will allow you to watch.
Apple like other devices do not use flash in fact as was mentioned in another reply even web browsers are discontinued the use.

The OP didn't say what device he was using. On many devices the apps are really glorified browsers and much of the same applies. I did mention that the "Flash" logic is being replaced by something else, but it behaves somewhat similarlly.
