I can tell you that Verizon does not provide free replacements.
Have you tried new batteries?
If you have more than 1 STB have you checked to see if it works on another STB or another remote works on it?
If you have a remote that works with your STB, go to menu Customer support Top Support Tools replace remote.
You can order online from Verizon website or find them on eBay.
