Remote control not working properly. Does it need to be replaced? The battery is ok but the remote won't peform several functions. I have a 2nd remote (for the bedroom TV) which works well for the functions the first one won't perform, but I can't use it to to turn on or shut off the livingroom TV or to modify the sound.
Regretably they normally charge for replacing a bad remote these days. Problem was caused by people requesting multiple replacements and just turn around and selling them on Ebay.
