Are we really back to removing what we don't agree with? As an adult in life we learn to avoid things we don't like or agree with. It's like telling the child that has an issue with sharing a toy that they should just smash it as a way to solve their issues with sharing! In my opinion it would be a huge mistake for Verizon to remove OAN. When I see that you're thinking of removing AWE (also owned by Herring networks) i have to believe it's an attack on Larry Herring and that is just wrong!

A mistake that I hope they will regret and reverse. CNN is a totally leftist media outlet as is MSNBC. This is not the America that I grew up in. I will be canceling.

I am thinking of dropping Fios completely. Not getting my money's worth, for sure.

Verizon is terrible! This is the last straw for me after they removed OAN. I hope they go bankrupt after all the OAN supporters change carriers. They made a big mistake.

YES, it is! I will be canceling my subscription. I hope others do the same. This is discriminatory and a violation of the first amendment. As a republican and a paying customer why don’t I have right to watch my choice of programming? They leave garbage like “The View” on and take off a show that aired “ moments in history “ vs all commercials? Teaching all about the history of our USA?? Really a disgrace.

I will add my two cents.
As long as you do not support from Verizon AND OR you do not have Fios TV One/Fios One TV, you are welcome to use your own NAT router (support will end at the ONT if this is the case). This comment/posting in this thread is for those people who want to stay on Fios but not have their TV Service anymore.

It was a big mistake for Verizon to drop OAN and AWE,are you going to do the same to CNN
and MSNBC?
The pressure from the far left must have been to strong to keep a REAL news program.
Now that Verizon removed OAN and AWE are you replacing them with more worthless channels, not to mention do you offer a refund on my monthly bill?

Totally agree. If you don’t like a station, don’t watch it. There are many stations I do not like or agree with, but I don’t suggest that Verizon remove them. I’ll be following this and hope that an agreement can be reached in the future. Right now, I am very disappointed in Verizon.

Are we getting money back from Verizon on our monthly bill since OAN and other affiliate stations no longer listed/provided?

Television is a moribund medium.
Streaming has overtaken cable in 2022.
By blocking our access to the information we seek, Verizon is forcing us to go else where to find it = Fox Nation?
Verizon has cancelled OAN and I am now cancelling my Fios contract.
Black Rock, Vanguard and the other "woke" investors behind this move have accelerated the death of their asset.
Bye-Bye Fios...

You used to be the place that always had the programming, while the cable companies were dropping active channels. When you lost the Weather Channel, I thought "uh-oh, the honeymoon is over". You brought them back after a few years absence, but the damage was done.
Now you've dropped OAN and AWE. If you're unable to keep programming, then we may have to drop you. We can give our money to a company that will give us the service we want.

One of the reasons I have stayed a customer with Verizon Fios is because they carried OANN and Newsmax. They tell the news as it is. It was a mistake to not renegotiate their contract. With all the options to stream and watch shows and movies, thie move may hurt Fios. I am for one looking at my options.

I suspect the real reason you no longer carry OAN is political in nature. Yes, finance makes for a convenient motivation but it is not accurate or at least only partially accurate. Verizon should not try to control free speech. We're not all Lefties.
90% of my viewing was spent with OAN, FOX and MeTv. So far you've dropped two out of three. I'm looking for another carrier.
