I just switched to Quantum and find that I can no longer skip ahead while using VOD. Prior to my new service there were 8-10 minutes chapters that I could skip ahead to while using VOD. The service seems to have desappeared with this upgrade. I tried resetting the top boxes without luck. Is this a known issue with Quantum or is there a way to fix it. Chatted online with tech but did not receive a solution.
Never saw a chapter option for VOD even with my old boxes.
It is avaialble for DVR.
A lot fo content providers are disabling FF as well.
not really chapter but intervals. Apparently it was a new feature. It would advance the VOD anywhere from 8-10 minutes when you pressed Next on the remote. It was a great feature but disappeared when I installed the new box.
Try it now. This functionality has been implemented. There will always be some constraints put in place by the networks.
