I can not get half of my channels. For example I get fox business(117) but, not Fox new(118). I'm not getting ESPN,2,4,7 and many others. It makes no sense. I hit the troubleshoot button, re-booted and called Verizon. They told me someone can not come out until 10/06 and I find this unacceptable. I'm thinking of canceling my services cause I am fed up.
This does sound like a hardware problem that would require a technician to come out and take a look.
Unfortunately the 3 day wait for a technician may be a bit of a pain, but most cable companies out there probably have around the same wait time.
Do you have more than 1 box?
If so, does it happen on all?
Try checking connections at splitter and back of box.
If it is happeneing at all, start at ONT and check all connections.
I don't remember where there is a list, but some channels are in the higher frequency ranges. Because of this older cable (particular rg-59) and splitters that don't go above 1000 mHZ are often the source of some channels not coming through.
I am having the same issue all my TV are showing no channels available at all
Check your ont to see if there are any alarm lights.
