Why does HBO GO force me to sign into Verizon Fios every time I use it?

The best i can tell, this is a Verizon problem (or at least, that's what HBO says). Is there some way to fix this?

Is this via an app or web browser?

If web browser, have you tried more than 1?

Could be that cookies aren't enabled to allow.
