I read Aljazeera's sport press release that they bought the rights for the Spanish league in the USA from GolTv, is FIOS going to carry this channel that is supposed to launch on August 1st?

In My opinion NO MORE SPORTS or create a seperate Sports Package, so all of us do not keep having to pay fo channels we do not want.

What is it going to take for Verizon Fios to address the many questions and requests for beIN Sports? Have you no consideration for the users who pay you a lot of money for the service? I for one give you a few more days before I switch to another provider.

Just as many may want some other non-sports channel. Until they solve their QAM space problem, every added National channel is a big probelm.
At the moment sports fans want several channels added. E.g. Pac-12, beIn 1 and 2. In hd of course. And non-sports fans have a long list as well.
And of course,except for the Byron Allen .tv channels, no one is willing go give up any of the current channels.

I understand your point. But you are missing ours. We are here to vote for our choice of channel to be added. I am sure there is a place that you can vote for yours as well. Everyone gets an opinion 🙂 I don't believe a "lecture" is in order.
Go to the beIN Sport website. On the right there is a boxt that says "contact your provider to add this channel." Simply fill out the request form and tell them your zip code and provider. Simple and best way we can request it. Let beIN use it in their negotiations.

Thanks for the link and all. I was not aware of any of this till a week or so ago. I did here about the channel and about the USMNS matches away but didn't klnow they picked up Serie A and La Liga. I like like both leagues but more so Serie A and considering I work on Weekends and the agreement ESPN had with Fox Soccer and all I was able to watch many of a matches on watch Espn from it. I'm glad i found the link to here as well

Verizon claims to be No1provider & cannot even commit to customer satisfaction. I just made the change from Comcast to Fios, but if Verizon doesn't get a deal with beIN Sports SOON, they will loose many customers like myself.

In a simple word, no, Fios is Not going to carry bein sport channels this soccer season . Neither probably the next one. If you like soccer like I do, move away from Fios. I m discontinuing my subscription to Fios before the end of the month. Thanks god I did NOT renew my Fios contract when my two years commitment ended. It was a lucky guess but a good one. Bye bye Fios.
I could not understand why they could not get GOL TV HD but thisis even worse. Do they understand that La Liga has some of the best players in the world playing there?

I used to watch La Liga and the Serie A all the time on Gol TV and ESPN Deportes and Fox. Please bring the BEIN Network Sports package to FIOS TV. I'm begging you!!!!

Sorry, but you couldn't be more wrong. I want beIN sports like th rest of you but I'd sell all my tv's and live in a cave before I EVER switch back to Comcast. Besides Comcast is NOT carrying beIN in HD, it's only carrying the SD feed.
For all the idle threats about leaving Verizon, if you all really feel that way switch now. I do believe Verizon will carry beIN in HD, only it's not going to be anytime soon. So if you're TRULY hell bent on watching the channel now I suggest you switch to DirecTV (because they are the only ones carrying it in HD), idle threats on message boards will get you no where.

This is a peer to peer forum, you will never get any kind of response from Verizon here. And they won't comment anyway if you ask them directly. As I said in another post, I do believe they will carry this channel in the future, only it's NOT going to be anytime soon. And Comcast and DISH ONLY carry the SD channel no HD. if you want HD your only option is DirecTV.
Please add beIN Sports USA channel. I cannot stand without watching my favorite team in the world, BARCELONA. Comcast, Dish Network, DIRECTTV already have it. I'm thinking of switching to one of these providers to get this channel. Thank you.

It seems that Verizon has been just giving us a bunch of **bleep** about when or if they'll ever pick up the BeIn Sports channel. To me it makes no difference, I would like to stay with Verizon but Comcast offer this station now. To cancel my Verizon subscription and hed over to Comcast is easy, plus I'll get a $250 prepaid VISA card for doing so. The only down side is I'll owe Verizon $100 for terminating my contract early. I asked the agent about cancelling my contract and she asked why, I mentioned that Verizon does not carry BeIn SPorts. she put me on hold and came back to say that BeIn is a hot topic and Verizon is in negotiations right now to bring this station on board. I would say by her comments that it will be soon....however agenst have been telling customers that BeIn will be a part of Verizons channel package for months and months. It only took Comcast a very short time to acquire BeIn Sports.
To me it makes no difference, Comcast has all the channels that Verizon has PLUS BeIn Sports...it's only 1 channel but I'm a huge WSBK fan and love soccer too.
Verizon IMO is just appeasing us with their **bleep** and excuses regarding BeIN...they don't realize how easy it is to simply change cable companys I'll keep Verizon until April as the next WSBK race is 4/24. I've already called Comcast and have the package I want all lined up..all I have to do is cancel Verizon!

Same here - We have 7 weeks before another race and I hope they can reach an agreement with BeIN by then.
