I read Aljazeera's sport press release that they bought the rights for the Spanish league in the USA from GolTv, is FIOS going to carry this channel that is supposed to launch on August 1st?

hello, im from brentwood NY and the reason why i switch to verizon was because of the soccer channels, spanish soccer is my main entertainment program on TV, now that there is no spanish soccer at all from VERIZON im about to switch to direct tv or dish, so please ADD beIN SPORTS HD and i'll stay forever with you guys, thanks!!!
Oh guys I have had Directv for over 2 weeks now and I am in love, to be able to watch Messi and co in HD every weekend is just amazing! also Directv let you watch some TV channels on your IPAD live, so I can watch beIN sport and FSC on my ipad which totally awesome!!!! dont think twice about switching do it, the CLASSICO is in like 10 days!!!!!!!

i am more than mad, i can't watch "el classico" Real Madrid vs Barcelona. We rarely watch tv and we mainly have cable because of these kind of soccer matches. What a waste of money, what a bad service. YOUR OPTION VERIZON: put the beIN channel or i will switch to other, like many others i bet.
So fustrated that verizon is not carrying bein sports and is dragging their feet to get the channel in the lineup. I've been pretty happy with the service but come on verizon you seriously have me contemplating switching to directtv so i can real madrid.
I will absolutely cancel my FIOS Services come January when my contract is up. I am paying almost $180 a month for the Fios Triple Package with five TV's in my house, all I want is the beIN Sport/ Soccer Channel, I can't even watch my favorite Team play anymore (Real Madrid), I will be cancelling FIOS comes January, going to DirecTV.

One word, Directv. I switched and love it not just because of beIn Sport, but because it's just better. They also broadcast Champions and Europa League games in HD on designated channels. You can also stream Fox Soccer and beIn Sport on your iPad or computer.
Just a thought or two to my soccer brethren, after reading through these dozens of messages. First of all, don't play into the hands of people with stereotypes by writing incomprehensible sentences that do not help us to be taken seriously and just play into their assumption that soccer fans are all illegal aliens. Make your points to them calmly and rationally.
Secondly, stop obssessing about specific teams. Oh, I want my Barcelona. Oh, I want my Juventus. Or about specific games: my God, we're missing the classico! Do you really think this is going to impress a non-soccer crowd? Do you think that they are going to give you a frigging channel because of a SINGLE game or a single team? Can you imagine putting on an NBA channel because a bunch of people said "My GOD - the Lakers are playing the Celtics next week. Please give us this channel!!!"
Make the case rationally and calmly. Tell them that the channel covers three of the top five leagues in the world, with X number of games, and that the national team is also shown, as well as a lot of WC qualifiers involving Latin American teams. Then, yes, remind them that other competitors have already made this provision and that there is a groundswell of movement to these providers. I myself will wait out this season and see what happens over the summer. Then it will be Comcast time. They can take the gigantic box from my attic. I'll autograph it.
The math is simple. If FIOS wants my business, they must offer beIN programming. 60% of the world's best leagues are no longer available to us.
C'mon, FIOS. Listen to your customers or lose them.

@koons, that's your opinion but illegal or not Verizon gets paid so they need to listen to it's customers. And yes my main concern is Juventus, Verizon carries many channels that I don't give a {word filter avoidance} about but they're still in my lineup. People are mad at missing they're teams games so {word filter avoidance} rational and calm.
So I eliminated all my ultimate package and went to $14.99 +/- service that Verizon are required to provide by the government. To watch any good soccer go to www.stopstream.tv, you can get Barca games here on line. After El Classico last week another increadible game with Barca winning 5-4, some of the sweetest soccer you would ever see, and supremely entertaining. Still at a loss why "Derirzon" is not showing this specticale?.................

Alright there are now 17 pages of requests for BEIN Sports. All the major cable providers that have more subscribers than you carry the channel. Now companies that are smaller than you are carrying the channel. This is almost embarrassing. We are loyal customers, we have gone through you communication tools to try and convey a point. Everyday on this site and Facebook there are requests, on FB they say they cannot comment because of competitive reasons.
beIN sports is not going away, I am afraid Fios customers may start.
Why not be a hero add this channel and keep Fios heading up the charts as the best cable company out there.
Absloutly terrible the way Verizon has stayed silent. The La liga season is almost over and I havent been able to watch jack. Bein sports should replace Goltv, and if Verizon cant get Bein sports then Directv will replace FIOS.
Well, enough is enough. Verizon won't even give their customers the courtesy of a response. I just signed my parents up to Comcast today so they can get bein sports and I'll be cancelling all television services from fios. Good job on continuing to lose customers cause of your ignorance and lack of consideration.

Many people have asked for beIN Sports, yes Verizon carries different soccer channels but beIN has cornered the market. Countless carriers have jumped on board, I can't figure out why you haven't.

Your talking to fellow users. Yes admins probably read, but don't normally do much more than redirect people to places where they can get support.
Personally I don't care about this channel, but than I also don't care much about either type of Football, basketball, baseball, etc. Doesn't help that some of these football (soccer) league coverage keep changing who carries them. So one year the fans are demanding one channel be added and then, when they move, ask for a different channel. But of course they don't want the first channel dropped.
It's not happening any time soon. The European leagues opted for the green of the sheiks with this new TV deal, and they and the fans have to pay the price. Verizon should not have to pay for another soccer network.
The contract is until 2015 for the leagues already, so theere is no change anytime soon.
What amazes me though is that all other major competitors already have aquired the channel in my area. In Jersey City it is available on Dish, Direc TV and ComCast. If they can do it, so can Verizon. Please don't make me go back to ComCast...
They will HAVE to add BeIN sports for the USA away games. Please, FIOS, this will be a dealbreaker if you don't carry it
I waited almost 6 month for this just happen. The liga will play their final second half of the tournament. I will have no option on switching to DTV. As Argentinean fans I will also love to have the 2014 world cup qualification for soudamerica on my TV and this is also carried by bein sport network. Please make this happen. with no response from Verizon, I am looking to switch to DirecTV or DISH by end of month. I pay about 170 x month and I don't have the option to watch my favorite soccer games

Sorry but beIn sports has been around how long now? And this exodus has not happened. Yes, I want the channel as well but so many of you are over evaluating the impact of not having it (sure a few hundred may leave, but when you have 4.4M subscribers that is almost like peeing in the ocean). Yes Soccer is the most watched sport in the world, without question, but FiOS is not available all over the world just select areas in the United State. And while Soccer is growing in popularity (I am a huge Premier league fan myself) it lags far behind most other sports in viewership in those areas where FiOS is available.

Amen. The interminable whining over failure to include this second-rate channel has almost made these forums unreadable. Just leave already if it means that much, instead of polluting the forums with thread after thread - from the same group of posters - about the exact same topic. I'd like every HD broadcast of MLB Extra Innings to be available, but guess what? They're not. And I'm not going to start 35 topics crying about it.

In no order ... I'm guessing the most watched sports are the NFL, NCAA Football, NCAA Basketball, MLB, NBA, the Olympics .... then, maybe soccer.
Verizon FIOS already have it on there. I noticed it on my channel list on 03/31/2013 but it was inactive. It's on HD Channel 598. I highlighted 598 and pressed OK but it was inactive. I'll call Vz later to inquire. I'm sure it will be active soon.
