I deleted my old messages recently, so I can't reference it without resetting my STB. I seem to think that the channel is being discontinued, but I may be mistaken. 😐

The owner of the channel, WPIX, is changing the format of the channel to Classic westerns and taking Court TV off totally. What I wanted to know is Will Court TV be on any other channel now.

If the owner of Court TV is making a format change, I read that to mean that it will be going away as opposed to switching channels.

From what I can piece together, Grit TV will be taking over Court TV's channel. Grit TV's current channel will become Laff TV.  😐

WPIX doesn't own Court TV. To really simplify it, Court TV is like any syndicated television series. A channel chooses to license it for broadcast. That is the case here, and WPIX has chosen a different format for its channel. So my question is will another cable channel pick up Court TV to air.

Grit TV channel outage - Verizon FiOS TV | DSLReports Forums

The discussion about Grit & Court TV seems to apply to the New York City/New Jersey areas. I'm in the Boston area so this doesn't seem to directly apply to me.

Court TV is on channel 485 WPXN and has been for the last month. Suddenly now channel 485 has turned into the Game Show Network with no explanation from Verizon about the channel change.  If you search for Court TV or WPXN pn the channel box, it brings you to channel 485. If you search for Game Show Network it comes up blank.
