I had to get new boxes as one of them stopped working and they were almost 19 yrs old. They set me up with a tech person and all you can is talk in a chat ugh! He wanted to charge me for a bunch of stuff I didn’t want or need and when I told him that he transferred me to another tech dept. All I wanted is new boxes. In the mean time while waiting on them I called back to speak with customer service. I got a very nice woman she helped me with no charges. I picked up the boxes at one of there stores and she said she would call me on Monday to make sure I had the boxes set up and if I would need help. She never called which I was upset about so I turned I called Verizon again and after talking with the gentleman I found out existing customers get refurbished boxes and new customers get the new ones. That really made me angry to know that. He helped me set them up so I then went to return my boxes to UPS as I was told I could do. When I got there they asked if I had a return code which they never sent me. I called Verizon and I was told where I picked up my boxes I had to return them there. They said I either can go back to the store or they can send me boxes and then I can return to UPS. I was like what is the reasoning and he told me it was there policy. I was like I was told I could bring them there and he said they were incorrect. I spoke to a supervisor who was as arrogant as the first guy. The entire thing is Verizon’s customer service has gone bad. I have never had a issue with them but I think after all this I will be going elsewhere. I am totally baffled by there policies. We pay high prices and we need to kiss them for the trouble. All I can say is if my bill is messed up from this good by Verizon. Enough is enough!!!!
