1-Occasional audio burps
2-Channel unavailable
3-Occasional no video, only sound
4-Freezing and pixelation on FX HD (553) and NatGeo(621) channels
5-Occasional wrong channel display, (press 553 and get a different channel like 502)
I can basically be happy if the pixelation is gone with this update, I happen to watch these channels frequently and it annoys the heck out of me when it happens.

Does anyone know if any "availability" info for this update has been released for Redondo Beach or Los Angeles County? Everything i've read has been mainly east coast info.

I heard we are slated for mid-April. Yes, Los Angeles is one of the last (if not the last) market for the 1.6.2 release.

I couldn't find the post on dslreports even though it's not official.

I looked through dslreports and verizonfios forums, but can't find the date for VHO 9a (Hampton Roads, VA.). Can anyone provide a date in this thread of via PM?
Thanks a bunch.

can't provide dates but it is looking to be completed by mid april because dates are subject to change
Oh well... I'll tell her "some time by mid-april". She's getting pretty irritated by all of the "Unable to Locate Hub" errors during her shows. She's actually way past irritated, but I don't want to go into details in here. Let's just say I'm just surprised we still have Fios service. IMO, this update is long past overdue. Borderline criminal.
As a software developer, this error would have been a Priority-1 bug and required to be fixed ASAP. Instead, VZ decided to wait 1/2 a year to address it.

I agree that it seems to have taken a long time for the problem to get fixed. I am also a software developer. We know it is useful to take time and be methodical and to test thoroughly before releasing, but this certainly should have been a priority.
