I just spent more time than i'm inclined to trying to get Verizon support tech to understand that Verizon's SSO service is not functioning.
I'm trying to stream MSNBC live on my laptop from my home network. My network is fine, my router is fine, my wifi is fine, my dns is fine, my verizon credentials are fine, everything is fine, except when i try to authenticate to verizon's SSO service (https://ssoauth.verizon.com/sso/VOLPortalLogin) to stream MSNBC on my laptop...
I get 502 Bad Gateway Error.
i've tried to stream on different browsers (chrome, firefox, edge).
i've tried to stream on different devices: laptops, android mobile device.
i've tried to stream on different networks, my verizon home network and my ATT wireless data network.
i've confirmed it's not an authentication issue with my vzn credentials, because i can login to secure.verizon.com/login
the result is always the same; i get a
502 Bad Gateway error.
All you have to do to reproduce this problem is:
1. go to https://msnbc.com/live
2. Click on the Sign-in Button (top-right)
3. Select Verizon as your service provider (this redirects your browser to verizon's SSO service page)
4. Enter your Verizon Credentials and click log-in (or sign-in or whatever)
5. Get 502 Bad Gateway Error
