After software update yesterday Quantum Box wont the complete reboot process

I have two Quantum boxes, one no problem, the other gets hung up and wont finish at "MENU SETTINGS" Have done soft reboot and hard reboot.
Can't use the TV as the Verizon settings screen is on with the red line showing that it's trying to update Menu settings; however the working box can find it and play any taped shows that I have.
In addition, the smaller satellite boxes that work with the main also show the Menu settings screen...
Any help appreciated

You may have to do a cold init.
COLD INIT
- Unplug the box. Wait about 20 seconds.
- Plug back in and immediately begin repeatedly pressing MENU on remote until you see the word "run" on the front display
- Using the down arrow button, go down until you see "COLD".
- Press Ok and the box goes through activation process, including downloading the current IMG software
