It seems that as a soccer fan Verizon gives no choice but to pay another $15 a month for a sports package just got get fox soccer?
(I have seen very little English soccer on any other channels (ESPN is very limited).
So am I correct in my understanding that Verizon expects us to buy a whole extra package for one channel?
(meanwhile, I got that same channel, and in HD, included in my regular package with my previous provider!)
Considering the set top boxes themselves cost that much (also way too high) that is a lot of money for something that is STANDARD with other providers...
Continually Disappointed.

I believe that you are correct.
I share your reluctance to just have my entire pay check direct deposited in Verizon's pocket, but we're headed that way - my Verizon bill is now significantly more than rent was on my first apartment...
anyhow, you can use your Verizon credentials to watch ESPN3 online, so that may help a little
