I found this same question in a forum and tried the suggested fix but the fix didn’t work! So how do we get the annoying voice to stop announcing everything we do on the tv???

Try this and see if it helps:
Main Menu > Customer Support > Top Support Tools > Fix Fios TV Issues
If not unplug power from the box for at least 3 minutes, power it back up and see if that takes care of it.
Also pull the batteries from the remote for at least 3 minutes and see if that takes care of the problem.

Try going here and disabling this:
Main Menu > Settings > System > Accessibility>Text to Speech.
Also make sure this is disabled:
Main Menu > Settings > System > Accessibility>DVS
