I get an email TODAY informing me that as of TODAY Bein Sports is no longer available. This is the ONLY channel that carries the European soccer leagues. I want Bein Sports back and if not by the time the European season starts I will drop Verizon IMMEDIATELY and sign up with another provider. Dish, Direct TV and Comcast all carry it. I lose nothing but Verizon loses a customer and I can bet that I am not the only one.

Verizon Fios have a million channels I don't use, And they dropped Bein sport! They should not have done this. To start with, Verizon is not providing Atmos Dolby sounds, Watching online out of home is a hassel, meanwhile their pricing is skyrocketing...
I can get Bein through other carriers....
And the only thing that matters is their bottomline,
I will drop them. I have done it before.

they sure will lose me, but how do I get out of my contract I just signed? they have been cutting content for months now without passing those cost savings on to the consumer. can they be persuaded to cut the price of the TV package everytime they lose content? where are those savings going?

UNACCEPTABLE. Will drop Verizon once my contract is up, unless this is resolved at once.

Comcast will not carry BeIN Sports either. But I agree with you if Verizon does not bring BeIN Sports back to Preferred TV HD plan, there are plenty of other internet/tv providers for me to choose. Verizon made a terrible decision to drop this network.

Horrible customer service! I tried calling multiple times today to reduce my service only to be put on hold forever! Then when I finally got someone in the Philippines she had horrible English and when I asked to speak to a supervisor I got magically dropped!

Verizon, you need to resolve this immediately! Once the European soccer leagues start playing you will lose subscribers.

Verizon, you need to listen and bring this channel back before euro soccer starts. I pay enough for a whole bunch of worthless channels that you can cut to keep this one. Don’t give me a reason to cut the cord on you.

I was a comcast customer for many years. I switched to Verizon less than a month ago so I could watch BEIN sports coverage of motorcycle racing. This was the ONLY reason I bothered to switch and now the channel has been dropped. Both Verizon and BEIN sports need to stop the **bleep** and fix this. No wonder
everybody is leaving all these crooked cable providers for streaming services.

+1 ..The only reason I purchased Bein was for MotoGP, WSBK, Moto 2, 3 MotoAmerica...as Bein came with the Sports package which includes Fox Sports 1 and 2, CBS Sports Spectacular channel which covers The Real Road Racing series from Ireland....(NorthWest 200, Cookstown, etc)...
We were with Verizon for over a decade, IIRC 13 yrs w/o any issues, complaints...then we switched to Comcast, what a joke!...nickel and dimed us for everything...never applied a $100 early termination fee w/ Verizon to our account among a hundred other technical issues....So we dropped it and went back to Verizon.. Well Verizon has dramatically changed...poor picture, incessent interruptions and break up of channels...especially Bein....Well Verizon is now vastly different, their picture is terrible, we've already gone through losing a channel the kids enjoyed El Rey which was a part of Univision...which I could care less about..but when Verizon and Univision culdn't come to an agreement, El Rey channel was cut as it was a part of Univision. When it came back, it wasn't apart of my package anymore, I had to either pay more $$$ to get it in an upper teir package, or go to a lower tier package and lose channels. So this is the 2nd time Verizon has pulled this **bleep** w/in a year...We're leaving...We already purchased a top quality router...and are looking for alternatives I'll give them to the end of summer break for WSBK.....then we're cancelling our contract 14 months early...lots of luck !

Nothing to think hard about. I can’t pay 170.39 monthly and do not have Bein Sports. The only reason I have Ultimate HD is because of Bein Sports. The soccer season starts soon. If Verizon do not reach an agreement with Bein- I will just cancel the TV service. Simple as ABC

To verizon. Being sports is the only reason why i have cable. I been with Fios or Verizon for over 10 years. If they don't have this channel the first week of the league starts, I will drop the whole subscription. I will sign up for FuboTV and watch every game there for a lot less money. Verizon this is unacceptable for you guys to drop this channel just so close to the season starts. Fix it or lose me forever.
Sincerely,
Loyal customer ( Not for long if you fail to bring it back)

To Verizon. Are negotiations still taking place? Is there still hope in reaching an agreement in the coming days?

Verizon is greedy. Bien is one of the very few channels I watch. I pay a fortune for crap channels I don’t watch at all. If they can’t get a deal done, I’m done with verizon, will switch to cox. You have two weeks Verizon, tick tock...

I Renewed my contract with fios just because of bein sport, i received it as a free package as an appreciation. I pay around 170$ a month for garbage channels.
Now I feel like I've been screwed by fios, will have to pay a cancellation fee to switch to other provider.

All customers can drop Verizon Fits with no consequences, no penalties because Verizon bridge the contract. Customers are paying for service they want to watch, if Verizon stop delivered what you want to; you are free to go... They screw up contract not you. No matter what its Verizon responsibility to find the solution how to provide Been channel for customers who have contract with Verizon. Honest business will pay extra money to provide Been channel till the all contracts with all customers will expired. As you see Verizon is not one of them. I'm looking forward to go back to Cablevision. Very bad guy but I will not be sorry for them...

They can't do that.
There is never a time when all customer contracts have expired.
That's part of the issue with being a cable provider.
You have customers locked in to programming pricing.
But content providers are always looking to increase their fees.
So at times, you have to make a decision to drop a channel all together, move it to higher tiers or play hardball on negotiating a new contract.
Keep in mind, Comcast has objected to their price increases as well.
As for cancelling your contract, the terms you agreed to allow Verizon (like most other cable providers) to add or delete content to your package during the life of your contract.

Ditto, ditto, ditto; face it it's greed on both sides and we the customers lose out
TO VERIZON RE: BeIn Sports
FIX IT ASAP OR LOSE ME TOO
You are going to lose thousands of customers over this bad deal for us, the consumer.
