Black screen on demand after every commercial

When watching shows on demand, the TV screen goes black after every commercial.  I have to pause the show, exit out and select continue watching to get the show back.  I sometimes have to rewind when it comes back on as it moves too far forward. This is annoying.  It happens on more than one TV.  How do I fix this?

First I would power down everything, then starting with the router power it back up. when it is stable power up each box one at a time. If that doesn't work try running this:

Main Menu > Customer Support > Top Support Tools > Fix FiOS TV Issues

I tried that solution. Rebooting the box worked that evening. I watch two shows without issue. The next night I went to watch another and the problem was back. Do you have any other suggestions that I can try

Does this also happen with shows you record on the DVR, or just On Demand shows?

We don't use our dvr, so I cannot speak to that.

Happening to us as well -  while watching on demand, after the commercial break, screen goes black.  We have to pause the show, exit and then jump back into the show...  been happening for a while and is really annoying!

You should contact support and report the problem so they can troubleshoot it. Sounds like a backend problem to me. You could also doing a system wide power cycle and see if it helps. Start by removing power to the router, then the boxes. Re-power the router, when stable start with the main box then any minis.
