CHANNELS 524 AND HIGHER CAN'T BE VIEWED, POPUP STATES NOT SUBSCRIBED TO. Whats the scoop on this? This started about 9pm last night.

Same thing happened to me starting around noon yesterday (3/23). Many phone calls, lots of crappy elevator music and still no solution. I'm getting local over-the-air channels only. A robo-call this morning said the problem was fixed but it isn't. I'm glad I have Netflix!

Ditto here in Buffalo NY. I ran the STB/DVR autocorrect from the in home agent menu and all was fixed.

All my DVR recordings have vanished - internal and external drives. I power-cycled the Motorola STB and the Verizon router. The In-Home Agent hangs when trying to fix the DVR.

Same problem here in Tonawanda, NY. 1 of my boxes works (the dvr) all others are out.

same in west seneca , too. all channels work properly on the regular HD STB, but the DVR doesn't work right. No channels above 49. Tech support said it was a service outage, but doesn't explain why it works on one STB and not the other.

At least Time Warner would let you know what's going on. They would put it on the phone hold message ro on the tv or on the web.

Having the same problem here in Mechanicsburg, PA. I noticed there was an STB update last night, and now none of my boxes can reach any channels beyond the basic local broadcast channels.

I finally got through to tech support after 59 minutes on hold and they reset all my boxes and i got everything back.

chat support should also be able to fix it, if the auto fix doesn't try chat support

I am in Harrisburg, PA and we noticed the outage as of 2:00 p.m. this afternoon - and it is still out. When i called in at 2:00 they said it would take up to 12 hours.
I have been on hold for the last 20 min. trying to find out what is going on. You have to call in to have your account credited for the outage.

Folks in PA - do this it worked for me
Press Menu >>>Customer Support >>>STB/DVR AutoCorrect - select all STBs by pressing 1 and then Right Arrow button for next then Right Arrow button again.
****it will take up to 8 or so minutes to resolve and it will say "Loading" for some time - the circle icon will not spin
*** if you get an error when accessing STB/DVR AutoCorrect - EXIT to live TV and repeat process

In Harrisburg also... The b-ball games are on CBS/HD - that's not one of the channels that are affected.

I live in Hershey, PA and my tv went to the Unsubscribed issue around 1230pm and i only get the basic channels now i reset online and on phone and i also did the auto correct but everytime it times out nothin happens...i was told by the robot on the phone that it would be reolsved by 4:52 pm tomorrow

I had the same problem ... we're just west of the Hershey folks ... first on my one TV yesterady and on another today. Two other boxes were unaffected.
On the first TV, I logged into my MyVerizon account and selected TV Tech Support and then the Quick Fix STB item and specified the STB that was acting up. After about 5 minutes, the box rebooted and the channels were restored.
The second STB took a bit more work ... reset it from the STB Menu (Home Agent STB Quick Fix under the customer support menu) and it rebooted the box just like the first one, but didn't fix the problem. Tried again, no change. Tried from another TV and from the online interface ... no change. Waited about an hour and tried again from the web site and it worked.
So ... the fix seems to be a bit dodgy as to it's effectiveness but it would appear to eventually fix the problem. Persistence.
Would be nice as it seems many are experiencing this problem if the customer support folks at Vz would alert their helpdesk / front line support to this particular issue and the resolution. Hearing people here saying that the tech support folks have no clue that this is occurring is a bit disconcerting. Maybe the admins here could sticky a post with the fix at the top of the category to draw people's attention to it.
