As bad as this channel is (the only horror option after Comcast bought out Fearnet, which was a great channel), it was still viewed fairly frequently in this household.
Stuff like this is the reason we're shutting off Verizon TV when our contract expires and moving to a streaming service.

I upgraded to get this channel and it is gone so is Verizon come December and back to cox but I will ask cox also if they will keep it. As it is now I could care less about cable/fios where we have to pay for what they choose for us. I know someone who left and came back to fios and pay MORE for less channels with their custom tv scam..when will verizon learn...probably never!

I also had to upgrade to premium to get this channel which ticked me off. And not giving any notice of this is just wrong. I'll be switching my provider when my contract is up too.

Bummer about Chiller, I had saw the announcement and contacted one of the Reps on 9/25. Said it was not going away but indeed it is. Very sad. Most of the programmming was terrible but I loved the Outer Limits and some of the movies. Will miss it. I still like Verizon though, I see many of the Cable providers are dropping that channel for some reason.

Totally with you on this. It was the only channel I watch and was forced to because Fearnet was gone. Now, I turn it on and it's not there?? This is shady business and lousy customer service to not tell customers that they know watch it. Perfect to remove it during the Fall season. NOT!

Why was Chiller Channel dropped from your line up. This maybe wasn't the most watched channel but my family enjoyed. My contract is up 4/7/19 I'll be shopping, bring it back.

Channel as mentioned was in SD and it won't be any loss in my household. Any new channels added should be HD only. TCM needs to be added in HD!

I really hate they can just pull a channel out like this. Yes the movies were wacky low budget horror- but were a fun watch sometimes and I loved the series- Outer Limits etc. I called Verizon and of course they blamed Chiller for not re upping there contract. I had the high package just to have this channel- Now when my contract is up soon I will lower package or just dump Verizon

For all of the money that we pay for the service, you could have at least waited until after Halloween to remove Chiller! And don't blame Chiller for not renewing its contract with you. You could have continued it for one more month even if at your own expense. And how about a lower monthly bill every time you drop a channel? But, it doesn't work that way does it. Apology has become policy. Fellow subscribers, if you want change, contact your representaives in Congress to complain about Verizon and all of these providers and their unfair consumer policies and business practices.

How can Verizon renew a contract for a month if content provider doesn't want to?
Managing costs has got to be one of the hardest things for a cable company.
People want refunds when a channel is dropped. But also want to keep a fixed price for servcie throughout the contract. Imagine how hard it would be if everytime a channel was dropped, or added or renewed for a different price, to adjust people's bills?
I have to thing their content fees are changing every month.

I have contacted my congressman about verizon's horrible customer service, my billing issues, equipment not working, etc. They don't care either. I even complained about what you pointed out - bill should be lowered every time they remove a channel but no success there either. Verizon sucks!

What we don't know is how often other channels have raised prices.
Its possible that channels being dropped are to help offset more popular channels that have raised prices.

I miss fearnet. Chiller was definitely lower quality. Still, it was something. Verizon is quickly losing its appeal. Not cheap. Not great service. What used to set it apart was service.

This is madness. We lose channels we love to watch. Nobody bothers at ask what channels we would like. I, for one, can;t stand sports. Yet I have to pay a lot of money so that the cost is spread out and sports fans don't have to pay their fair share to watch sports programming. Why don't we pay to watch what we want and not what others want to watch?

What happened to Chiller on 193 in Baltimore County, MD. It was one of my favorite channels! Did it move? I hope it was not dropped!!!
